Romania must sustain the investments in the alternative resources of energy, in order that the electric energy from renewable resources arrive to 33% in the 2010. Even if the biomass is one of the principal resources of renewable energy of Romania, now the country gets the big part of the green energy from hydro resources. The exploitation of the biomass has however increased in Romania.
For a long time term, the increase of the quantity of biomass can be gotten by the exploitation of agricultural lots and degraded surfaces.
