The durable development is defined by the Committee Brundtland, in the 1987, as "the satisfaction of the needs of the present, without jeopardizing the possibilities of the future generations to satisfy the own needs."
The durable development is a political objective of the European union and the global objective of the Operational Programs is the reduction of the economic differences between Romania and the other states members UE. Accessing the structural funds permit the growth of the productivity of the Romanian enterprises and decrease the difference comparative to the average productivity level in the union.
